About Us

Everything is made at home!

Aunt Ruth is a cottage food producer registered with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. Everything we offer is made right in Aunt Ruth's own home, and can either be delivered directly to the customer or arrangements can be made to pick up at our home.

Everything is made from scratch!

We do not use any box mixes or premade items. From the flour, sugar and cocoa to the frostings, fillings and caramel everything is made from scratch, with care!

No order too big...or small!

Whether it's your wedding day, graduation day, birthday, workday or any day, we can customize your order for you. Corporate events, office parties, or maybe just a treat for you, contact Aunt Ruth today!

Aunt Ruth grew up in Madison Lake, MN, and went to school in Mankato, MN. After 16 years as a photographer, she decided to follow her other passion, one for sweets, and combine it with the joy of creating lasting memories for the special events in people's lives.

Everything from the kitchen of Aunt Ruth is made from scratch, by hand, and yes, with love! No premade fillings, frozen doughs or packaged mixes. Every bite you take will bring back memories of what mom used to make!

Every baked goods order is customized for you, even if it's not on the menu. Each customer will work directly with Aunt Ruth so that every order will be done right, whether it's your dream wedding cake, birthday cake graduation cupcakes, cookies or pies!


Social

Orders must be picked up or delivered in person. Orders are not currently shipped. Delivery is available in Mankato,  Albert Lea, Mapleton, Wells, Blue Earth, Good Thunder MN and surrounding communities. Delivery / set up fees apply.
